Stage sets remain a constant for Istanbul-born Umit Benan, and his latest creation was a "meyhane," otherwise known as a men's-only Turkish café. Each model donned a mask, fez and mustache for the show, and there were kaftans and Nehru collars that reflected the region's styles. Tailoring also carried over from seasons past, updated with drop crotches and worn over longer layers, while a subdued color palette gave the casual collection a muted, somber note.
